To what temperature does the Lattemento heat the milk?
To a temperature between 62-68 degrees celcius. This is the perfect temperature because the taste of the coffee isn't damaged and the coffee doesn't burn because of overheated milk.

How can I only heat milk?
This is very simple, just remove the spiral from the mouth-piece: only the plastic part stays attached to the stainless steel stick. This way there will be air stirred through the milk which causes it only to heat. This can be done with every desired capacity with a maximum of 250 ml.

Does the Lattemento work with every type of milk?
The Lattemento works best with milk that has a high protein level.

How long does it take for the Lattemento to be ready?
This depends on the quantity of milk in the Lattemento. With the standard models (LM140/LM145/LM150) it takes 1 minute and with the big model (LM300) it takes 2 minutes.

I'd like to heat 2 quantities directly after one another: is this possible?
Yes this is possible, but for the thermostat to reset it takes 2 to 4 minutes for the Lattemento to be ready for use again. If you don't wait for this, the milk will be heated but won't be frothed.

How do I clean the Lattemento?
You can clean it by flushing it out directly after use and clean the walls with a soft towel of brush. Never use sharp objects: it will damage the non-stick coating.

Can I put the Lattemento in the dishwasher??
No you can't, the Lattemento can only be flushed out under the tap.

Why is there a small layer of milk sticking to the bottom of the Lattemento?
This is caused by the heating element that's located in the bottom of the Lattemento. It is protein and is harmless and can be removed by wiping off with a soft cloth.

Tips & tricks for using your milkfoamer
Invisible dirt may accumulate on surfaces that come into direct contact with (hot) milk, which may lead to defects or deterioration.

Therefore please follow these instructions carefully:

After every use, clean your milk foamer by washing the inside with a splash of detergent and a soft brush and rinse carefully.

Do not put the milk foamer in the dishwasher: it is not dishwasherproof!

Never immerse the jug or base in water.

Never fill your milk foamer above the fill line. The bottom line on the inside of the milk jug indicates the level for foaming the milk and the top line indicates the level for heating the milk.

Make sure the lid is fully closed, otherwise the milk foamer will not work.

After every use, allow the cleaned appliance to cool down for 2 to 4 minutes before using it again.
